the brief

Freedom Furniture’s range of premium cleaning and maintenance products are specially formulated to work with their different furniture formats. These are upsell products usually added on to a furniture purchase - consumers don’t usually self-select, the Freedom instore team do that for them.

But staff were overwhelmed and confused by the range, as all products looked the same. So they’d stopped recommending them to customers.

Our challenge was to make it quick and easy for staff to find and recommend the right product.

the outcome
Using standard visual language for finish types (leather, wood, fabric etc) but framing it in a Freedom brand style, made it simple for staff to quick find the right group of products. Strong clear type and format labelling supported that.

The result? A dramatic increase in sales of Furniture Care products from a very simple, pragmatic design solution.
